Chapter 061 - So he was the only pacifist here. (4)
Chu Qianli looked straight at Wang Zheng, sighed, and said, “You are a pitiful one.”
“What?”
“You think that my deskmate is weak and makes an easy target when, in reality, he just couldn’t be bothered with paying you any attention. You have nothing. All you have is to interject and make fun of your classmate to emphasis your presence. You will feel ignored otherwise and that you are a nobody in class……”
Chu Qianli rolled the dice around calmly. “You feel that you have successfully isolated my deskmate when you are nothing but a clown in everyone’s eyes. All it is is that nobody likes to get into it with a rapid dog.”
School was a place that was filled with all sorts of competitions. Let it be clothing, family background, grades, or awards.
Wang Zheng needed to bully Tan Muxing to establish the feel of accomplishment as the class bully but He Shichen or Yuan Ya, etc., paid him no attention. The others merely didn’t want to have anything to do with a lunatic.
Chu Qianli had thought that Tan Muxing’s inferiority complex derived from being made fun of by Wang Zhang. Recently, she noticed that big polar bear deskmate had his own believes and his inferiority complex did not come from Wang Zhang and the others.
Chu Qianli’s words struck Wang Zhang where it hurt the most.
Wang Zhang was enraged instantly and, with blood rushing to his head, he rushed forward and shouted angrily, “What kind of bullchit are you talking about?!”
Chu Qianli sat next to the window and Wang Zhang stood in the aisle with Tan Muxing between the two of them.
Wang Zhang was, after all, a boy and he was tall and strong. It was quite scary when he lunged at Chu Qianli in rage.
Then, before he could reach the window side, he felt a horribly powerful force and he stumbled backward into the empty chair behind him and knocked the chair over with him inside of it.
The table and chair made loud noises on the floor and that immediately started all the other students in class.
Yuan Ya, their class lead, turned around from the front and stood up to maintain the order. She said sternly, “What is going on back there?!”
The chair had already fallen over and Wang Zhang legs dangled embarrassingly on top of the chair. Luckily he landed on his bottom and didn’t sustain any injuries.
He looked at the person in front of him in fear as though this was this was his first time getting to know this person. His shoulder still remembered the force that it felt.
Blocking in front of Chu Qianli, Tan Muxing pursed his lips and said softly, “I don’t like violence.”
Tan Muxing had always been a dough-like softy in class and always teased by the other boys in class for being feminine. He had, nevertheless, never lost his temper nor had he ever resorted to anything physical.
That was precisely the reason why their class teacher arranged for Chu Qianli to sit next to him.
Tan Muxing was always harmless and there would never be any conflict.
Nevertheless, a polar bear is, after all, a polar bear. As soft as it looks, it was still a swift and powerful creature. Very much like how most people think of pandas as cute national treasures when, in reality, they possess incredible combat effectiveness. They are also referred to as the iron-eating beasts.
Chu Qianli watched the scene nervously. She panicked a little when Wang Zhang charged at her. She knew full well how weak she was when it came to fighting. Lo and behold, her classmate had been hiding his true ability.
Tan Muxing turned and, seeing that she was dazed, became anxious all of a sudden. He quickly apologized. “I’m sorry. Did I scare you……”
Tan Muxing was for certain a peace ambassador. He did not advocate violence of any sort and worried that his deskmate would be displeased by his action.
It was hectic in class right now and he worried, worried that she would dislike him.
The very next second, Chu Qianli, still standing behind Tan Muxing, placed her hands on her waist and started aggravating Wang Zhang. She retorted childishly, “What bullchit are you talking about! What bullchit are you talking about!”
She felt much more righteous now that she has backing. There was no way Wang Zhang would get back up and lung at her again. She became progressively more presumptuous.
So what if she couldn’t take on Wang Zhang? She got her deskmate, right?
Tan Muxing, “……” So he was the only pacifist in this world.
