Chapter 072 - “You never know what sort of mean little sister is on the other end of the internet.” (4)
Zhang Qiang even wondered if she was just a loser as of hate. She would not have other wise lost her mind and asked for a divination. It was all caused by her recent dark period.
She had no idea what had gone wrong. It wasn’t like she didn’t try hard. Why was it that she had heard nothing back from all of her resumes?
She started watching divination videos because her life had been bitter and she was looking for some sweetness.
She was about to froze so she was looking for any sparks that she could find.
“Whether you are telling the truth or just saying it to make me feel better……” Zhang Qiang pulled herself together and said softly and emotionally, “…… I appreciate it.”
The divinator, “Of course it’s all true. I am a Marxist and the core of Marxist is being pragmatic.”
Zhang Qiang, “…… You really don’t need to stress that. I am already starting to feel that your divination is an entrapment going after those who promote feudal superstition.”
Zhang Qiang was very impressed by this divinator.
Other divinator worried that others don’t trust them. This one worried that others would trust her too much and wished that she could give a Marxism session.
Zhang Qiang asked tentatively, “Can I asked how long it will take my income at the third job to surpass that of my second job if I was to pick it?”
“Hang on, let me see…… At least three years. Depend on how hard you work.”
“Oh, that’s quite a bit of time,” said Zhang Qiang with a smile. “Do you always ask for feedback from your reading? I can give you feedback after three years.”
“Three years?” The divinator remained silent for a change. “….. I guess that will work.”
Something occurred to Zhang Qiang and she suggested, “Oh right. Don’t you divinators always sell things like amulets or lucky crystals, etc.? Do you have anything like that?”
The divinator sighed helplessly, “I don’t sell merchandizes or perform rituals. Exactly how old are you who’d still believe in something like that? I can sell you a Balala magic wand.”
Zhang Qiang, “……” Hot dang. All I wanted to do is to support your business but you have to mock me?

The divinator left Zhang Qiang with a good impression. She didn’t really believe in lucky crystals or what not, she only asked to try to give the divinator more money. In the end, not only did she only pay for the divination, she was also reminded madly to not ask for a lot of readings.
“Do I look like someone who would be fooled by superstition?” said Zhang Qiang, troubled. “What I told you was true! I did not make that up!”
She did receive four texts within the span of the video but the divinator insisted that it was just a coincident.
The divinator, “Alright. I am going to hang up if you have no more questions. I need to get ready for my afternoon class.”
Zhang Qiang, “?”
Zhang Qiang asked dubiously, “Are you still going to college?”
Zhang Qiang felt that the divinator spoke very articulately. That and on top of the fact that she really didn’t want Zhang Qiang to go astray, Zhang Qiang had thought that she was someone with more experience in life. As it turned out, she was still a student?
The divinator, “No, I’m a senior high school student.”
Zhang Qiang, “? ? ?”
Zhang Qiang busted out laughing from annoyance. “You are a minor and you demanded for me to prove to you that I am an adult?!”
The divinator was the one who would be blocked by the anti-addiction system even if she wanted to play The King of Glory!*
Chu Qianli said hesitantly, “Oh, mainly because you really didn’t strike me as an adult in the heat of the moment……”
Chu Qianli felt that Zhang Qiang was not very rational after she had heard Zhang Qiang’s story.
Zhang Qiang felt hurt.
She was educated by a little sister divinator and she was going to sell her a Balala magic wand. Came to think about it, it was so embarrassing that she could dig out a magic castle with her toes.
Zhang Qiang, annoyed from her embarrassment, “You should be calling me Big Sister! I am a few years older than you!”
She wasn’t truly annoyed. The divinator did, after all, solved her problem. She just found the whole thing a bit embarrassing.
Chu Qianli, “?”
Chu Qianli said docilely, “Bye bye, Big Sister. Don’t ask for readings randomly anymore. You never know what kind of mean little sister is on the other end of the internet.”
Chu Qianli hung up on the phone after she said that.
Zhang Qiang, “……”
