Chapter 438 - Extra 8 - The three walked away and the giggling from the little boy could still be heard. (4)
As it was the weekend, there were a lot of little kids in the zoo and the laugher from kids around them made one happy.
Some kids would be scared by bigger animals but Xiao Naihuang, standing in front of the fence, pulled a candy out of his large pocket and wanted to feed it to the animal. “Here, take Baobao’s candy and we will be good friends from now on.”
He unwrapped the candy and held it out with his little hand. The elephant across from him acted as though it could hear him and reached out its long nose and touched Xiao Naihuang’s little hand with it.
The candy disappeared.
Xiao Naihuang was so happy that his mouth cracked out. “Mommy, the big elephant is now Baobao’s friend.”
Ning Zhi smiled at him, “That’s right. It is your good friend now.”
Lu Jue continued to carry Xiao Naihuang and walked forward while holding Ning Zhi’s hand. Xiao Naihuang was too cute and many girls were touched by him and couldn't help but looked at him over and over again.
Xiao Naihuang was delighted. He liked all the animals inside the zoo.
When they arrived at the giraffe’s section, he looked at the giraffes with their very, very long necks standing inside the fence. He pouted. “Baobao is not tall enough and couldn’t touch the giraffe.”
He reached his little hand out from Lu Jue’s arms and tried to touch the giraffe.
Ning Zhi found that comical. Her son was both cute and silly. Ning Zhi was startled the very next second.
The giraffe, who was chewing on some leaves just a moment ago leaned its head toward Xiao Naihuang.
Xiao Naihuang giggled and happily touched the giraffe on its head with his little hand. “Mommy, I am good friends with the giraffe now.”
There was hesitation in Ning Zhi’s eyes. “Yes, you are good friends with the giraffe.”
She exchanged a look with Lu Jue.
Next to them, many guests looked at the cute kid interacting with the giraffe. Even animals like cute kids.
After Lu Jue and Xiao Naihuang had walked away, many next to them reached out trying to touch the giraffe on its head yet it had lifted its head proudly and returned to its leaves.
Ning Zhi pondered some and Lu Jue said next to her, “It just might be a coincidence.”
Sitting in Lu Jue’s chest, Xiao Naihuang was very excited. He kicked his little feet and wanted to move. Lu Jue patted him on his back, “Hold still.”
A little while later, Ning Zhi’s suspicion was confirmed.
Walking in front of the tiger section, they heard a tiger roaring nonstop. A few kids were already crying from the roaring tiger and their parents had taken them away quickly.
Xiao Naihuang, in Lu Jue’s arms, were not scared at all. He looked at the tiger with his big black and bright eyes and said, “Bad tiger. You’ve scared the other kids.”
The little kiddo said to the tiger that was not too far from them in a loud voice, “Don’t roar any more, tiger. You will scare the other kids.”
The other guest thought that Xiao Naihuang was not only cute but also very brave. He wasn’t afraid of the tiger at all and even told the tiger to stop roaring. He was pure and cute.
The next second, the tiger that was roaring angrily quieted down miraculously.
“That was odd. The little kid’s words were so effective. The tiger had really stopped roaring.”
“It’s just a coincidence.”
“Good job, little baobao.” Someone event eased Xiao Naihuang.
None of the guests believed that the three year old kid could really make a tiger listen to him.
Lu Jue and Ning Zhi both went silent by now. They looked serious.
They knew by now that it was no coincidence. Their son truly had the ability to make animals listen to him.
After they had walked away from the tiger section, Ning Zhi asked Xiao Naihuang, “Baobao, why did the tiger listen to you?”
As soon as she had finished asking that, Ning Zhi found herself silly. The kid was too young to understand.
Xiao Naihuang blinked his big black eyes and said in his milky voice, “I am friends with the tiger.”
Ning Zhi and Lu Jue exchanged a look. She took a deep breath and pinched the child’s face. “Right. All the animals are good friends with you.”
They walked over to the bear section and a bear was sitting leaning on the sturdy fence. There were no other guests around them.
Ning Zhi wanted to test it out some more. “Baobao, can you get the big bear to stand up?”
Xiao Naihuang nodded his little head and his voice childish. “Hey, bear. Baobao is here to see you. Stand up and look at Baobao.”
The bear with its back to the fence did not move.
Ning Zhi let out a sigh of relief. She didn’t really want her son to have any kind of special powers.
Nevertheless, the bear moved a few seconds later.
It got up, turned around, and stood up while holding onto the fence.
Xiao Naihuang clapped happily. “The bear is friends with Baobao.”
The boy’s voice was crips, but he was able to command a large and scary bear.
Ning Zhi, “……”
Picking up her nervousness, Lu Jue held her hand tight. “It will be fine. As long as our son is happy. I got this. Don’t worry, Zhizhi.”
Ning Zhi looked at her son’s big and bright eyes and nodded.
Lu Jue suddenly placed Xiao Naihuang down on the ground. The little kiddo blinked and was baffled. He didn’t understand why Daddy suddenly stopped carrying him.
Lu Jue smiled and covered Xiao Naihuang’s eyes with his large hand. He then leaned down and kissed Ning Zhi.
Comforting Zhizhi was more important than his son.
“Daddy, I can’t see you and Mommy.” It was pitch-black in front of Xiao Naihuang.
Ning Zhi’s face turned red. Lu Jue was being very unrestrained. He wrapped his tongue around the tip of hers a few times. He only pulled away while licking the corner of his lips after she bit him gently.
Lu Jue’s lips looked moist. Ning Zhi had just had some juice and he could taste her sweetness on the tip of his tongue.
His eyes and brows were clean and clear but the way he looked at Ning Zhi was gloomy and steady.
"Bad Daddy. Daddy bad guy." Xiao Naihuang scolded his Daddy in his milky voice. “I can’t see Daddy.”
Ning Zhi gave Lu Jue a stare.
Lu Jue finally slowly removed his hand over his son’s eyes. “Let’s go get you some ice-cream.”
Xiao Naihuang, who was still huffy and puffy a second ago, now had sparkling stars in his big, black eyes. “Daddy’s the best!”
Ning Zhi busted out laughing and she couldn't help but pinched his chubby little cheek.
Xiao Naihuang held Ning Zhi’s hand with one hand and Lu Jue’s with his other. He turned around and said to the bear inside the cage in his milky voice. “Bye, Big Bear.”
The bear watched as Xiao Naihuang walked away.
Under the sun, Lu Jue turned his head and kissed Ning Zhi. Xiao Naihuang lifted his little head. “Daddy, Baobao wants kiss too……”
The three walked away and the giggling from the little boy could still be heard.
