Apparently, the interviewer on site did not identify with the viewers’ happiness. All he felt was desperation.

He waved painfully at the cameraman who was trying very hard not to laugh out loud and expressed his desire to take off from there.

Gu Nian was extremely reluctant but, out of politeness, she still dragged herself out of the rattan chair and said, “You taking off? Let me see you to the door.”

The interviewer did not want to allow her another opportunity to make him speechless. He gave her a stiff smile and conveniently pretended that he did not hear her.

That did not bother Gu Nian. She walked around the two individuals who were packing up their equipment and went to open up the room door.

The interviewer walked over to the door filled with complicated emotions. He finally stopped after a lot of hesitation before turning around and looking at the innocent, except for being a little languid, girl.

“Mmm… thank you so much Screenwriter Gu. You should get some rest. You should receive the detailed agenda of the show by tonight.”

Her eyes still droopy, Gu Nian lifted her head as she said softly, “Okay, tha––“

Her voice stopped abruptly.

Looking into the direction that Gu Nian was looking at, the interviewer saw the door across from them opened up. A man with loose hair and a big chunk of his cold, fair, and sexy collarbones showing walked out of the room in khakis and a black tee-shirt.

He saw the girl who looked like she could fall asleep any second just a few minutes ago standing in front of the man like a little sun, her eyes sparkling and her voice clear and loud.

“Hi Luo Xiu, are you all settled in?”

“Not yet, but I am not in a rush. I can do that after I get back!”

“Back from?”

“Right! The sun over the beach looked very nice. We should go over there and get some sun. It’s good for our calcium production!”

After the beginning of autumn came the hottest days of the year. This year, in particular, the heat started on the first day of autumn.

Gu Nian and Luo Xiu had returned to their respective rooms to rest before the evening. As dinner time got closer, all the guests received notifications from the filming crew asking them to join them for dinner over at the patio behind the cabin where they would also receive the agenda for the first season.

After receiving the message, Gu Nian changed and was about to go over and invite Luo Xiu to walk over together. Nevertheless, when she was tying up her shoulder-length hair in front of the mirror, she heard knocking on her oor.

Knock. Knock knock.

It was plain and light, tender and steady.

She figured out who it was in a second or less. Gu Nian smiled at the girl in the mirror before whipping around to head to the door.

“Good evening.”

Standing outside the door, Luo Xiu was still in the black tee-shirt and khakis that he had on earlier with the exception of an additional thin jacket. The light was dim in the corridor under the moonlight, making him look even whiter and colder, like fancy porcelain.

His eyes looked like amber with stars inside of them and they were looking down at her tenderly.

Gu Nian recovered from being stunned and asked, surprised, “You are keeping the same outfit tonight?”

Luo Xiu lifted up his hand. “Yeah, why?”

“Hmm, this is the first time I saw you dressing like this. I thought you would change back into a button-down shirt when you meet up with the filming crew.”

Luo Xiu smiled and lifted his hand to rub the girl on her head ever so smoothly. “Didn’t you say I look good like this in the daytime?”

Gu Nian was crying inside from the head stroking. Wuwu~

At this rate, she was going to get used to being rubbed on her head. She wouldn’t be able to hold onto her bottom line as a mom fan for much longer.
