Wen Rugui recovered from his initial shock and said, “The doctor hadn’t mentioned anything about me not being able to have kids. Are you sure about that?”

That reminded Zhou Yan as well. He, too, chimed in, “Yeah, Dog Egg Huang, you are not a doctor. I feel that we should go consult a doctor tomorrow.”

Huang Qimin felt his teeth sting. “……”

These two ignorant people!

Huang Qimin was very annoyed that they doubted his authority.

What he really was trying to say was that an injured back would affect their ability to appease their spouses. That would be quite an embarrassing subject to bring to a doctor.

For the sake of defending his own authority and to educate these two sooner rather than later, Huang Qimin went over to where the security guard was and brought over to dogs.

Zhou Yan was even more perplexed after he saw the dogs. “What are the dogs for, Dog Egg Huang?”

Wen Rugui, too, was puzzled.

The two dogs were of opposite genders and tis was springtime. It was time for plants to flourish and animals to mate.

As soon as the two dogs got close to each other, it was like a spark lit up right away. The male dog jumped on top of the female dog and started humping away.

Not very many people kept dogs at pets back then and there were also very few stray dogs. The two men had seen dogs in the past, but never seen them engaged in such activities.

Huang Qimin’s face was flushed. “Making babies. Um, no, making puppies.”

The female dog whimpered in a very pitiful voice.

The noise attracted the attention of Dean Zhuang who happened to be passing by.

Everyone’s eyes met and there was a few seconds of silence in the air.

Huang Qimin, “Dean, it’s not what you think. Let me explain……”

“Save it!” Dean Zhuang looked at them with speechless eyes. “What are you guys doing here? Fetching two dogs so you can watch them… … You… … I don’t even have the words!”

Wen Rugui, “… …”

Zhou Yan, “… …”

The three’s faces were red like cooked shrimp and they had no words to defend themselves either.

Ever since Tong Xuelu had won the first place at the culinary competition, business at the restaurant went up and up.

Especially since they had moved to their new location. Let it be the location or tis décor, everything was fancier and classier than it was before.

Many who were treating others to dinner or company events would visit East Wind Restaurant specifically.
