When the chicken was almost done, she added the other ingredients into the work and stir fried them at high heat. It was ready to be dished out when the sauce thickened.

All Fang Jingyuan could think of at the moment was the yummy food.

Tong Xuelu said nothing else when she saw that.

When all the dishes were brought to the table, Xiang Peng’s eyes lit up for the first time when he saw the dishes.

Tong Jiaming, too, had recollected himself. He nodded as he dashed out the door. “Okay, I will.”

Tong Xuelu ran into her room and pulled out a clean handkerchief to wrap around Fang Jingyuan’s forehead.

Fang Jingyuan had already lost consciousness by now. She was able to carry Xiao Jiu to the hospital last time when he was bleeding from his head. She was, however, not able to carry Fang Jingyuan.

Even if she could, she wouldn’t be able to take her to the hospital on the bicycle.

Tong Mianmian’s eyes widened. She was so shocked that she had forgotten to cry. When she recollected herself, she started to bawl.

Tong Xuelu looked up and comforted her. “Mianmian, good girl. It’s alright. Big Sister Jingyuan took a fall. Why don’t you go over to Grandma Shen’s place with your brother.?”

The little bun was scared but she still nodded docilely. “Okay.”

Tong Xuelu looked over at Tong Jiaxin, who looked equally frightened and said, “Jiaxin, take your sister with you over to Grandma Shen’s place.”

“Okay, we will go right now.”

Tong Jiaxin nodded with his widened eyes before he took his sister by her hand and the two turned to leave.
