The Deputy Director walked over and directed the others to take Tong Zhenzhen away. “Take her with us. And hurry. It’s almost end of the workday. We don’t need more drama!”

Two female administrator quickly walked up to grab Tong Zhenzhen by her arm, “We are with the Prosecutor’s Office. We need you to come with us for fabricating stories and fooling the public!”

Tong Zhenzhen felt like she had been struck by lightning.

Tong Zhenzhen turned pale.

Tong Zhenzhen’s hands shook uncontrollably.

The Prosecutor’s Office!

Had they discovered that her stories of saving others were fake?

She remembered Tong Xuelu. No wonder that * suddenly decided to ask her out!

She had let her guards down. On top of that, she did not tell Yan Yongan about this meeting either.

Tong Zhenzhen regretted deeply.

The bluestone slabs on the shore was covered in moss. Tong Zhenzhen, struggled so hard, that she slipped and started falling forward.

With a loud BANG.

Tong Zhenzhen landed on the ground, face first, smashing hard against a bluestone slab.

Bright red blood started to gush and almost stained the entire area in front of her.

The two administrators quickly helped her up. They saw a bloody hole on Tong Zhenzhen’s forehead. She was bleeding from both her nose and mouth. Her face was covered in blood and looked very scary.

Tong Zhenzhen felt dizzy. She wiped her face and her hand was covered in blood.

Her eyes rolled and she passed out.

How unfortunate was that?

That being said, that was nothing compared to what she had done.

Tong Xuelu looked at Tong Zhenzhen like she was looking at a dead pig. Her lips started to curve upward.

Yan Yongan had no idea that someone had turned her in, nor did he know that Tong Zhenzhen had already been apprehended.

At this very moment, he was bragging happily in his office to his subordinates.

“As I have said before, its only a matter of time when someone who has such great work ethics and foresight is recognized by his superior.”

“Yes, Minister Yan is such a meticulous planner and caring toward his subordinates. On top of all that, he cares about the general public. You are exactly the kind of leaders that our country needs!”

Everybody was brown nosing him.

Yan Yongan had a solemn look on him. Nevertheless, those who knew him well would notice that he was drumming a beat with his hand on the arms of this chair.

That gave away that he was in a good mood.

Suddenly, with a loud BANG, his office door was swung open and men in Chinese long tunic filed inside.

The men inside the office was startled and they all turned to look at the men walking inside the office.

Yan Yongan’s brows furrowed and he suddenly had a bad feeling.

A man who was skinny like a monkey bounded straight up like a flea. “Which department are you from? Who said you can just march in here like that?”

None of those men said anything and footsteps approached from afar. “We are with the Prosecutor's Office Malpractice and Tort Division. We need him to come with us for suspicion of abusing his power and fabricating a hero to the public!”

“! ! !”

There was a few seconds of silence in the office after the man was done talking.

When Yan Yongan heard the words “Prosecutor’s Office”, his nail scratched across the arm of the chair forcefully. So forceful that the nail on his index finger was turned inside out.

A human’s finger had the most nerve ending and the pain made his face twitch.

Yan Yongan stood up and said, “I see, Deputy Director Zheng. But, your accusation is baseless and I urge you to watch what you are suggesting.”

“You will have plenty of time to defend yourself at our office, Minister Yan.” Deputy Director Zheng looked at his hand and said, “Perhaps Minister Yan would like his hand checked out at the hospital? You just might run into Tong Zhenzhen, you fiancée, there.”

Yan Yongan’s heart sank. He feigned calmness and asked, “What happened to Comrade Tong?”

Deputy Director Zheng chuckled. “Comrade Tong had fallen into a body lake and almost drowned because she does not know how to swim. She then slipped and fell after she had been saved and was taken to the hospital.”

“! ! !”

Yan Yongan’s subordinates exchanged looks with each other after they heard the “does not know how to swim” part.

Hadn’t Yan Yongan’s fiancée been praised as the living Lei Feng because she had saved others from drowning?

And one of them was Yan Yongan’s younger son. So how was it that she couldn’t swim and almost drowned?
