His deep voice was particularly clear in the night. “I am outside your house.”

Ning Zhi’s eyes lit up from excitement. “You’ve came?”

“Yes.” Lu Jue asked her, “Do you want to come see me?”

“Yes!” Ning Zhi hung up on the phone and quickly ran out of her room. She didn’t even want to dry her hair first.

“Miss, where are you going this time of the night?” asked the butler when he saw Ning Zhi dashed down the stairs.

Ning Zhi spoke very fast, “Lu Jue’s here. I want to go talk to him.”

As she was talking, Ning Zhi was already outside the house.

Lu Jue’s tall body waited outside the house. He was standing straight up and his shadow casted on the ground was elongated.

His thin lips shut tightly and his face straight.

Ning Zhi’s slim body could be spotted the next second and Lu Jue’s lips curved upward slightly. Even his eyes lit up.

Walking out of the door, Ning Zhi walked over to Lu Jue with a smile on her. “How come you decided to come over all of a sudden?”

Lu Jue had been busy with wedding planning lately and she hadn’t seen him in a long while.

“I miss my Zhizhi dearly.” Lu Jue caught the girl who had flung herself at him. “You’ve washed your hair?”

Her wet hair touching his hand.

“Yes, I just did.”

Lu Jue brushed away the few strands of stray hair that were stuck to the girl’s face and gave her a peck on her cheek. “You must dry it before you go to bed.”

“I know.” Ning Zhi felt that she was now being taken care of by Lu Jue.

“I have a present for you.” Lu Jue let go of Ning Zhi, turned, and brought out a blue gift box from his car.

Ning Zhi looked at the box that he was carrying and asked, “What is it?”

Lu Jue opened up the box and inside of it was a tiara covered in gem stones. It was stunningly beautiful.

“You can wear this on our wedding two days from now.”

Ning Zhi didn’t know that Lu Jue had been working on it for a long time. It had taken him months and he had placed every gemstone on it with his own two hands.

“It is so beautiful. I like it a lot.” No girls could resist a tiara, especially a shiny and delicate one like this one.

“Let me put it on you.”

Lu Jue placed the tiara over Ning Zhi’s hair. She was so beautiful under the moon she looked a princess how had just escaped the castle.

Their wedding was set to take place at the castle.

Ning Zhi changed into her wedding down inside the dressing room and put on the tiara that was given to her by Lu Jue.

The makeup artist and Fang Yuzhou were both stunned.

“Xiao Zhi, you are too pretty.” Everybody had already lost count of how many times Fang Yuzhou had said that.

Fang Yuzhou had on a very delicate dress and was Ning Zhi’s maid of honor today. She was very surprised when she was invited to be the maid of honor of the fiancé of her boyfriend’s boss.

Until she met Ning Zhi and realized that Ning Zhi was that girl who had saved her life once.

Fang Yuzhou was delighted and emotional and immediately agreed to it.

“Thank you, you are very pretty too,” said Ning Zhi with a smile.

“Xiao Zhi, I need you to stop laughing. You are taking my breath away.” Fang Yuzhou placed her hand over her cheat. Ning Zhi was too pretty. Even her heart was pounding when she looked at Ning Zhi.

She couldn’t help but teased, “I would try to sweep you off your feet today if only I am a man.”

Ning Zhi chuckled. “Wei Xing will cry if that happens.”

Suddenly, a tall and large body walked inside. Both the makeup artist and Fang Yuzhou knew to clear the room. Fang Yuzhou even voluntarily closed the door behind her.

“How come you’ve come inside?” Ning Zhi could see Lu Jue from the mirror.

He had on a black and straight suit today. He looked restrained and was breathtakingly handsome.

It was the very first time Ning Zhi saw him in a black suit.

Lu Jue also looked at Ning Zhi from the mirror and he looked stunned.

He leaned down and leaned into Ning Zhi’s ear. What Lu Jue had wanted to say was that he was a little nervous and wanted to see her. What he ended up saying was, “Zhizhi is so pretty.”

Ning Zhi’s lips curved upward.

“Zhizhi, I want to kiss you.” Lu Jue was honest and direct. His lips touched Ning Zhi’s delicate little ear gently.

Ning Zhi felt a tingling sensation on her ear. Her body stiffen a little. “No, I’ve already had my makeup applied.”

Lu Jue lifted Ning Zhi’s chin with his fingers. “I’ll help you reapply them later.”

Having said that, Lu Jue lowered his head and kissed Ning Zhi, whose head was forced into a lifted position. The tiara on her head fell and was caught by Lu Jue’s other hand.

Bit by bit Lu Jue ate away all the lipstick on Ning Zhi’s lips.

Lu Jue finally let Ning Zhi go when her eyes had moistened. His hot breath landed on the base of Ning Zhi’s ear and they burned. “Just you wait, Odd Big Sister.”

Wait for what? Ning Zhi couldn’t even think anymore.

Lu Jue helped her adjusted the crown on her head and re-applied her lipstick before he left.

Fang Yuzhou came back inside and looked at Ning Zhi. She said playfully, “I get that. Really, I do.”

Ning Zhi looked like an incredibly pretty little fairy right now. Lu Jue must have a lot of self control not had eaten her right then and there.

The wedding commenced.

The outside of the castle was filled with guests and very bustling.

Everyone looked at the handsome Lu Jue standing in the front and couldn't help but lamented what good genes he had inherited.

That was until Ning Zhi had appeared in her white, long wedding gown and her princess tiara. The guests gasped at the slow walking Ning Zhi.

Nobody had expected the bride to be so incredibly stunning.

Ning Zhi was pretty like a princess returning to her castle under the sun.

In the front row, Mother Lu smiled and wiped away her tears at the same time. “This moment had finally come.”

Father Lu wrapped his arm around his wife’s waist. “Our son will be very happy from this point forward.”

Mother Lu wiped away her tears from the corners of her eyes and nodded happily.

In front of them, Lu Jue’s back was straight and there was a solemn and sacred look on his handsome face. His pitch-black eyes were nervous and bright and all he could see was the girl walking toward him.

Lu Jue reached his hand out.

Ning Zhi walked over to him and placed her hand in his.

The two hands held onto each other, and their fingers interlaced.

Ning Zhi saw hundreds of sparkling little suns in the indicator over Lu Jue’s head.

Her eyes were filled with light.

Lu Jue lowered his head and, with everyone watching, he leaned into Ning Zhi and said in a voice that only she could hear, “I love you, Zhizhi.”

She could stay inside his little confined shell with him but she could also show him light.
